Radio show host Jayde Donovan took to Twitter to share a breastfeeding hack that’s now making its way around Reddit, and its pretty genius. The host of Cumulus Media’s Todd & Jayde in the Morning show shared a photo of two Smucker’s Uncrustables revealing she freezes them, puts them in her nursing bra as ice packs, and then unwraps and eats them once they defrost. If this isn’t innovative thinking at its finest, we don’t know what is.
Reddit user by the name u/tessa1hope screenshotted the hilarious post and shared it to the site with the caption, “I actually tried this and I’m not mad about it.” According to the responses she received, new moms everywhere are jumping on the Uncrustables bandwagon for all-around relief—breast tenderness and hunger alike. Moms really do have the most resourceful solutions for everything.
Ladies, don’t sleep on this new trend. Not only are Uncrustables the perfect size for your nursing bra compared to your average bulky, boxy icepack, but they make for a delicious post-feeding snack, and you can buy them in bulk at Costco. It's the ultimate win-win scenario.
