Amazon Alexa baby making

It's no secret that trying to conceive can sometimes turn into a tedious chore—even for the most sex-crazed couples. But now Alexa is here to help spice things up. And no, we're not talking about a hot new sex therapist. We're talking about Amazon's digital voice assistant.

The company announced today that everyone's favorite virtual personal assistant (sorry, Siri!) will now be able to play music from the Amazon Music library based on specific activities—things like meditation, running, or… you know, trying to make a human.

Sounds pretty cool, right? I mean sure, we've always been able to search for music via genre or mood. But now, instead of saying "Alexa, play soft rock music," we'll be able to say things like "Alexa, play baby-making music." How much you wanna bet Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" is right at the top of her list?

According to Amazon, more than 500 activities are included in the update, ranging from things like dinner party music and falling asleep to getting pumped and hooking up. And get this: you can even request specific genres for your activities. Which means if you prefer to get busy to bands like No Doubt and Toots and the Maytals, you'll be able to specify commands like, "Alexa, play ska music for baby making," and she won't even judge you.
