Starting today, January 14th, through January 27th, Krispy Kreme will sell a "Chocolate Glaze Collection." The new assortment of four doughnuts overhauls popular flavors from their menu with the addition of chocolate dough and chocolate glaze. As shared in a company press release, here are the four flavors that will make up the new collection:
We're torn between ordering the raspberry-stuffed Chocolate Glazed Raspberry Filled Doughnut topped off with red icing and the Chocolate Glazed Cake Batter Doughnut, for tasty morsels of cake batter mingling with chocolate glaze, chocolate icing, and sprinkles.
The collection is being offered as part of the brand's "Cheat Sweet" promotion, a campaign encouraging that it's okay to stray from your health-focused New Year's resolutions and indulge in the occasional treat. As every dieter knows, what better place to start than with chocolate? “If you’re taking a brief break from your diet or exercise routine, you may as well make it worth it,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, in the same company press release. “This is worth it.”
