What You'll Need: Tape measure, embroidery floss, scissors, tape or safety pin
Make It:
- Measure the circumference of your child's wrist. Multiply this number by 7 and cut embroidery floss to that length.
- Line up all the strings side by side, fold in half, and knot to create a small loop at the top.
- Tape or pin the loop to a secure surface.
- Have your child place the leftmost string off to one side while gathering the rest in one hand. Begin knotting with the outer thread, making a loop around the rest of the strings and pulling through (as shown). After about ten knots, have her continue the process using a different color of string from the bundle.
